Cushman & Wakefield to Eye on Uptown Tower for Office Lease Options

Another major business tenant buys a place in the new Uptown office tower.

Commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield, is looking to lease two floors in a new McKinney & Olive tower under construction north of Klyde Warren Park. Real Estate company is expanding its office after the recent merger with DTZ.

Cushman & Wakefield is currently housed in the tower of Rosewood Court Cedar Springs Road in Uptown. DTZ has offices in Preston Center in North Dallas. Combining the two offices will take about 40, 000 square feet of space, according to Cushman & Wakefield execs.

Realtors say that the company commercial real estate buildings looked Uptown and downtown, before focusing on McKinney & Olive project. Crescent Real Estate is developing a 20-storey office and retail project, which was designed by award-winning architect Pelli Clarke Pelli.

$225 million McKinney & Olive project is scheduled to begin later this year.

Signed tenants in the building include law firms to Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP and law firm Sidley Austin LLP, a consulting firm McKinsey & Co. and advertising firm Saatchi & Saatchi.
